Number of Courses Accredited by SkillsFuture

4 Mr Melvin Yong Yik Chye asked the Minister for Education (a) to date, what is the number of courses that have been accredited by SkillsFuture; (b) what is the number of applications for accreditation that have been rejected; and (c) what are the main reasons for rejection.

Mr Ong Ye Kung: Currently, over 30,000 courses are funded by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). Since 2016, SSG has rejected over 4,000 other courses as they were not work skills-related.
