Number of and Criteria for Private Property Owners Given Waivers for Mandatory Waiting Period

47 Ms Valerie Lee asked the Minister for National Development (a) to date, what is the number of private property owners who are given a waiver of the 15-month wait-out period after selling their private property and before buying a HDB resale flat; and (b) whether the Ministry considers changes in family circumstances, such as adequacy of space or financial circumstances, as a factor when granting the waiver.
