Monetary Awards for Outsourced Workers Performing Essential Services in Healthcare Settings

31 Mr Abdul Samad asked the Minister for Health whether there are any plans to support publicly funded healthcare organisations to make a monetary award to the estimated 5,000 essential services outsourced workers such as cleaners, housekeepers, porters, technicians and security officers to recognise their contribution and dedication as frontline workers, working alongside our healthcare workers, during this COVID-19 pandemic.
