Mental Health Support Provided to Retired Team Singapore and eSports Athletes

29 Mr Melvin Yong Yik Chye asked the Minister for Culture, Community and Youth (a) what mental health support is provided to Team Singapore athletes after they have retired from competitive sports; and (b) whether such support is extended to retired eSports athletes.

Through such support during their active competition career, our athletes develop the life skills and mental resilience that can help them deal with life’s challenges, even after their retirement from competitive sports.
