Measures to Strengthen Socioeconomic Mixing in Oversubscribed Schools

40 Mr David Hoe asked the Minister for Education in its ongoing refinement to the PSLE and Secondary 1 posting framework, whether the Ministry is willing to consider measures to strengthen socioeconomic mixing in oversubscribed schools, including but not limited to setting aside a small number of places for students from disadvantaged backgrounds or introducing a socioeconomic tie-breaker in instances requiring balloting.
