Ensuring Singapore Remains Leading Aviation Hub in Transit to Sustainable Aviation Fuel

21 Mr Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim asked the Minister for Transport what are the measures to ensure that Singapore will remain a leading aviation and transportation hub in light of the requirement for all flights departing from Singapore from 2026 to use sustainable aviation fuel.

Mr Chee Hong Tat: Our approach to build the Sustainable Aviation Fuel ecosystem strikes a balance between economic competitiveness and environmental sustainability, to support the long-term growth of our air hub and encourage investments in new Sustainable Aviation Fuel production facilities.
