Enhancing Redundancy of Singapore's Undersea Cable Communications Networks

32 Dr Tan Wu Meng asked the Minister for Communications and Information whether the Ministry can provide an update on what measures are being taken to enhance the redundancy of Singapore's undersea cable communications networks, including the preservation of adequate bandwidth for the Internet and cloud computing access for essential services which include Singapore's financial sector.

To further support our growing bandwidth needs, we will allocate more space and landing resources for submarine cable operators.
