Current Lowest, Highest and Median Monthly Rent for Petrol Station Sites

49 Ms Gho Sze Kee asked the Minister for National Development what is the lowest, highest and median monthly rent currently paid for petrol station sites.

Mr Chee Hong Tat: Petrol station sites in Singapore are either privately-owned or tendered out by the Government. For sites tendered out by Government, most lessees paid a lump sum land premium upfront. Of the 24 sites that paid a monthly rent, the lowest, highest and median monthly rents are $25.88 per square metre (psm), $345.09 psm and $132.10 psm respectively, depending on their locations across different parts of Singapore.
