96 Mr Gerald Giam Yean Song asked the Minister for Digital Development and Information (a) what are the criteria for invoking section 11(3)(b) of the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Act 2019 to mandate print correction notices; and (b) how does the Ministry ensure that this remains a remedial tool rather than a way to financially penalise online platforms by forcing them to buy newspaper advertisements.
