38 Ms Nadia Ahmad Samdin asked the Minister for Health (a) how many clients have been actively served by the IMH Community Mental Health Team in the last two years; and (b) what sort of critical conditions and situations will prompt the mobile crisis team to conduct a home visit.
Mr Ong Ye Kung: The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) is a multidisciplinary team that provides psychosocial rehabilitation for discharged patients, in their homes.
The CMHT has served about 2,300 patients since August 2019. The mobile crisis team delivers crisis interventions to individuals with a known or suspected mental health condition who are at risk of harm to self or others, or are impaired such that they are unable to look after themselves.
