Complimentary AI Tool Subscription Scheme Redemption Rates, Uptake Targets and Breakdown of Popular AI Tools Subscribed

66 Mr Gerald Giam Yean Song asked the Acting Minister for Manpower (a) how many Singaporeans have redeemed the complimentary six-month subscription to premium artificial intelligence (AI) tools since the scheme was launched; (b) what targets has the Ministry set for overall subscription take-up; (c) how do current redemption figures compare against these targets; and (d) what is the breakdown of the main AI tools subscribed to by beneficiaries.

Ms Jasmin Lau: The complimentary six-month subscription to premium versions of AI tools was launched on 16 September 2026 and is intended to reach around 200,000 individuals over three years. It complements broader Government efforts to build AI capabilities among Singaporeans and support AI adoption by enterprises.

As the initiative has been in operation for less than two weeks, it is too early to assess take-up against this three-year target.
