Comparison of Stall Rent Data from Privately-owned Coffee Shops vis-à-vis Data from HDB-leased Coffee Shops

48 Ms Gho Sze Kee asked the Minister for National Development whether the Ministry will consider collecting stall rent data from privately-owned coffee shops to enable meaningful comparison with data being collected by HDB for HDB-leased coffee shops from January 2026.

Mr Chee Hong Tat: The Housing and Development Board plans to make available relevant rental data which will help potential shop tenants or stallholders make informed business decisions. The collection and publication of rental data for privately-owned coffee shops is under review and we will provide an update when ready.
