51 Mr Melvin Yong Yik Chye asked the Minister for National Development whether the Government has assessed the outcomes of Integrated Facilities Management procurement contracts across the public sector, including their impact on productivity, service quality, workforce outcomes and overall cost-effectiveness.
Mr Chee Hong Tat: Public sector agencies track the outcomes of their Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) contracts based on their operational needs. Typical indicators monitored by agencies include response time for resolving issues, manpower productivity and user satisfaction.
In general, agencies have observed benefits from their implementation of IFM. For example, JTC's portfolio of IFM contracts has exceeded performance targets, based on indicators, such as response time and user satisfaction.
