Apportioning Neighbourhood Renewal Programme Budget for Resident-led Proposals

68 Mr Foo Cexiang asked the Minister for National Development whether the Ministry will consider apportioning part of the Neighbourhood Renewal Programme (NRP) budget for residents to propose, develop and vote on their ideas on block and precinct-level improvements.

Mr Chee Hong Tat: The Town Councils have the flexibility to use their Neighbourhood Renewal Programme budget to implement estate improvement projects that residents propose and vote on, subject to technical feasibility.
