The Leader of the House (Ms Grace Fu Hai Yien): Mr Speaker, may I seek your consent and the general assent of Members present to move a Motion that the debate on Deputy Prime Minister’s Ministerial Statement be taken now.
This will allow the House to resume its debate on Deputy Prime Minister’s Ministerial Statement on the additional COVID measures given on 26 March and conclude on its consideration, before the House proceeds to vote on the sums contained in the Supplementary Estimates for FY20/21 and the Supplementary Supply Bill.
As Members are aware, the Supplementary Estimates and the Bill reflect the necessary funds required for the multi-Ministry programmes outlined in the Ministerial Statement which are subject to Parliament’s approval.
Mr Speaker: I give my consent. Does the Leader of the House have the general assent of Members present to so move?
