Nominated Members of Parliament

Mr Speaker: Order. Oaths and Affirmations of Allegiance. Pursuant to the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Special Select Committee nominated the following nine persons to the President for appointment as Nominated Members of Parliament:

Assoc Prof Goh Toh Chuan, Kenneth

Dr Haresh s/o Singaraju

Assoc Prof Terence Ho Wai Luen

Ms Kuah Boon Theng

Mr Mark Lee Kean Phi

Dr Neo Kok Beng

Prof Kenneth Poon Kin Loong

Mr Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari

President Tharman Shanmugaratnam, by Instruments of Appointment dated on the same day, appointed the nine Members as Nominated Members of Parliament for a term of two and a half years, with effect from 8 January 2026.

The Nominated Members are present today to take their seats. They will now take their oaths and affirmations of allegiance, and will proceed to the Table to do so, when their names are called.
