Summary

This motion concerns the formal approval of the Main and Development Estimates for the financial year from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026. Parliament agreed to supply the Government with $139,804,307,900 for Main Estimates and $39,236,834,600 for Development Estimates as specified in Paper Cmd 32 of 2025. Second Minister for Finance Indranee Rajah reported these resolutions to the House and moved for Parliament to concur with the Committee of Supply's findings. No arguments were raised as the question was put and agreed to following the Minister's report on the expenditure heads for public services. Question, "That the sum of $39,236,834,600 shall be supplied to the Government under the Heads of Expenditure for the Public Services shown in the Development Estimates for the financial year 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026, contained in Paper Cmd. 32 of 2025," put and agreed to.

The Second Minister for Finance (Ms Indranee Rajah): Mr Speaker, I beg to report that the Committee of Supply has come to certain resolutions.

First Resolution reported –

That the sum of $139,804,307,900 shall be supplied to the Government under the Heads of Expenditure for the Public Services shown in the Main Estimates for the financial year 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026, contained in Paper Cmd 32 of 2025.

Second Resolution reported –

That the sum of $39,236,834,600 shall be supplied to the Government under the Heads of Expenditure for the Public Services shown in the Development Estimates for the financial year 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026, contained in Paper Cmd 32 of 2025.
