The Leader of the House (Ms Indranee Rajah): Mr Deputy Speaker, I beg to move, "that this Parliament, in accordance with paragraph (1) of Standing Order 100, appoints the following as Members of the Committee of Selection:

Dr Koh Poh Koon

Ms Denise Phua

Mr Pritam Singh

Dr Tan See Leng

Mr Edwin Tong

Mr Zaqy Mohamad"

Sir, the appointment of the Committee of Selection will enable the Committee to begin its work of nominating Members to the six Standing Select Committees of this House and the Special Select Committee on Nominations for Appointment as Nominated Members of Parliament.
