Clarification by Minister for Culture, Community and Youth

The following statement was made in the speech given by the Minister for Culture, Community and Youth (Mr Edwin Tong Chun Fai) during the Committee of Supply debate for the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth at the Sitting of 7 March 2024:

The Minister for Culture, Community and Youth (Mr Edwin Tong Chun Fai): In addition, from August 2024, the spexPotential programme will support more young athletes trying to make the transition to the next level. I spoke earlier about how we had good young athletes at SEA Games, debutants who won a third of our gold medals.
