The purpose of this Bill is to make additional provision in accordance with Articles 148(2) of the Constitution for expenditure in excess of the sums authorised by the Supply Act 2023. The additional sums have been approved by the House in the Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for the Financial Year, 1 April 2023 to 31 March 2024, as contained in Paper Cmd No 28 of 2024. Mr Speaker, I beg to move.
