The purpose of this Bill is to make additional provisions in accordance with Articles 148(2) and 148C(2) of the Constitution for expenditure in excess of the sums authorised by the Supply Act 2021 and to reduce certain appropriations for this Financial Year due to exigencies. The additional sums have been approved by the House in the Supplementary Main Estimates of Expenditure for the Financial Year 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022, as amended, contained in Paper Cmd 7 of 2021. Mdm Deputy Speaker, I beg to move.
