The Second Minister for Finance (Ms Indranee Rajah): Mr Speaker, I beg to move, "That the Bill be now read a Second time."

The purpose of this Bill is to make additional provision in accordance with Articles 148(2) and 148C(2) of the Constitution for expenditure in excess of the sums authorised by the Supply Act 2021. The additional sums have been approved by the House in the Second Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for the Financial Year, 1 April 2021 to 31 March 2022, as contained in Paper Cmd No 13 of 2022. Mr Speaker, I beg to move.
