Explicit Age-based and Marketing Restrictions in Upcoming Regulations for Blind Boxes

23 Mr Yip Hon Weng asked the Coordinating Minister for National Security and Minister for Home Affairs in view of the plan to regulate blind boxes for gambling inducement risks (a) whether the Ministry will consider proposing explicit age-based restrictions or marketing limits targeting children; and (b) how does the Ministry assess the potential impact on minors’ consumption behaviour.
