The following statement was made in a reply by the Acting Minister for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Finance (Mr Jeffrey Siow) during the Ministerial Statements on Impact of the Middle East Situation on Singapore at the Sitting of 7 April 2026:
The Acting Minister for Transport and Senior Minister of State for Finance (Mr Jeffrey Siow): Thank you, Mr Speaker. On self-employed groups, specifically the Combi bus and limousine drivers, in 2002, our Government worked very closely with the NTUC to work out the support measures for this particular group. I think we will be happy to work with NTUC again to see how that can be done. I wish to make the following factual correction to my reply given during the Sitting of 7 April 2026. My statement should read as follows:
